Teaser Tuesday ~ Get 'er Done

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along, so I thought I would play for un! Just do the following:
  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers
You can use the idea of Commander's Intent in your life  As a parent, instead of telling your teens exactly how to do something, give them your intent.  Give them the freedom to come up with their own way of accomplishing the task.  Instead of taking responsibility away from them, it puts the responsibility back on them for success.  You will fine them much more energetic and cooperative when you use the idea of intent.

That is so very true!! It also helps them to learn to think for themselves - which so many adults seem to be unable to do anymore. It's really a sad state of reality!!

This looks like a terrific parenting book!! Thanks for bringing it to my attention!

My teaser this week is from ‘Deep Trouble’ by Mary Connealy.
